Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Math
Part One

Time: Saturdays - 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

A hands-on multisensory approach to achieving mastery of basic mathematics.
Teachers, tutors, parents and their students
can build confidence as they “build” mathematical concepts.

Part Two

Advanced Skills and Practicum

Location for all classes – Surrey Campus,
Simon Fraser University
Central City complex at 13450 102 Avenue,
just south of the Surrey Central SkyTrain station
(just look for the large office building).
SFU Surrey is adjacent to Surrey Central
and King George SkyTrain Stations

Colour Coded Grammar and Composition Workshop
Part One - Introduction
Marilyn Wardrop and Allyn Rodden

Using movement, colour and humour
helps the struggling student gain success
and enter into the fun of creative writing.

Part 1 introduces the basic concepts
of Colour Coded Grammar
and expository writing skills including
sentence, paragraph and story development.
Patterns of colour are used to help students compose original sentences orally and in written form.

The emphasis is on vocabulary building and fun.
